What we do
Gutter services
All of these services exist for one reason: getting rain off the roof, down the pipe and clear of the foundation. Nearly every job begins as a clean, and the rest deal with what the clean turns up.
Gutter Cleaning
A house on the beach and a house under the firs near Errington fill their gutters with different things. We plan each clean around where your property sits between the water and the mountains.
- Residential gutter cleaning
- Commercial gutter cleaning
- Strata and condo gutter cleaning
- Townhouse gutter cleaning
Eavestrough Cleaning
Shingles, shakes, metal and tile each send something different into the eavestrough. The roof decides how we clear it and when in the year it is worth booking.
- Eavestrough cleaning under asphalt shingle roofs
- Eavestrough cleaning under cedar shake roofs
- Eavestrough cleaning on metal and tile roofs
- Grit and sludge scraped from the trough floor
Gutter & Downspout Cleaning
A gutter system fails in a set order as a storm builds. We follow the water from the first drops to the morning after, then clean and flush every part it passes through.
- Gutter clearing ahead of the storm season
- Outlet and gooseneck clearing
- Downspout flushing, top to bottom
- Flow testing at every outlet
Gutter Maintenance
For owners who have stopped climbing, spend the winter away or run a rental from elsewhere: a clean, a check of the whole system and small fixes, with a plain report after.
- Scheduled gutter cleaning
- Condition check of hangers, seams, outlets and fascia
- Small fixes done during the visit
- Visits while the owner is away
Gutter Guards
Any guard looks good on fitting day. What matters is how it behaves after a few wet winters under fir and cedar or in salt wind off the water. Here is what we see.
- Gutter guard advice and fitting
- Clearing and refitting existing guards
- Gutter cleaning before any guard goes on
- Checking fixings on waterfront guards
Gutter Repair
Some gutter faults take five minutes while we are already on the ladder. Some need a second trip. Some mean the run is finished. We tell you which, and why, before you spend anything.
- Resealing leaking corners, seams and end caps
- Rehanging sagging or pulled-away runs
- Replacing bent hangers and damaged sections
- Downspout and elbow replacement
We also offer soft washing and pressure washing.
